The OSMT Fanzine is a community charity project that brings together Osomatsu-san fans from all over Tumblr.Because of recent world events, the zine's current chosen charity is Taawon (Welfare Association): ISNAD - Helping university students in Gaza to resume their education.Stay informed on the genocide happening in Palestine.

Q: What is a zine?
"Zine" is short for "magazine," and typically refers to a "fanzine," which is a type of magazine, usually produced by amateurs, for fans of a particular performer, group, or form of entertainment. Picture a fan-made magazine where everyone gets to contribute!


Q: What is OSMT Fanzine?
The OSMT (Osomatsu-san) Fanzine is a profit for charity digital-only zine, meaning that there will be a new edition multiple times a year. For now, it takes place solely on Tumblr.We currently do not plan to make physical versions.


Q: Are ships allowed?
You are allowed to draw multiple characters in your piece, but we ask that you do not draw ships that aren't already explicitly canon (i.e., Matsuyo and Matsuzo are alright to ship). BLMatsu is not allowed to be showcased in any shape or form.NSFW is also not allowed. The zine is rated PG15.


Q: What characters are allowed?
All canon characters are allowed, including those from Osomatsu-kun. You may include original characters, but we ask that they are not made the focus of the piece. We also ask there not be any crossovers, as this is an Osomatsu-san zine.


Q: How many artists are you looking for?
We are looking for at least 30 contributors.


Q: Will you allow BLMatsu artists to participate in this zine if the content made is not BLMatsu in nature?
Due to the comfort of members, we would not like those who ship BLmatsu participating in the zine.


Q: Do I need to have previous experience in zines to participate?
Previous experience with zines is not necessary to participate in OSMT Fanzine. The choosing process will be based on your portfolio and ideas.


Q: Is there an age requirement to join?
For the safety of all contributors working on the zine, you must be at least 15 years old to join.
